Hi, I’m Osman Taha Kıyıcılar — a passionate software developer with nearly 7 years of hands-on experience in building, maintaining, and optimizing digital solutions. For me, programming is more than just a job; it’s a way of thinking, solving real-world problems, and continuously evolving both personally and professionally.

I started my career early, joining Garaj Software, where I worked on caller ID apps with millions of users, ASO strategies, and marketing operations. Over time, I expanded my expertise in companies like Merpa, Datatelekom, and Roxis Teknoloji. My focus has primarily been on backend and full-stack development with PHP and Laravel, server-side optimization, ERP solutions, automation, and DevOps infrastructure.

In 2022, I joined SaveAs Yazılım, where I worked on ERP systems for Medipol Hospitals, developed backup solutions, and handled server automation and optimization. Afterward, I continued my journey at Uzman CRM as a Software Developer & DevOps Engineer. Here, I focused on improving CRM systems, building CI/CD pipelines, and maintaining a scalable and stable development environment.

Beyond corporate roles, I also explored the entrepreneurial path. With my startup Certifyt, I built a platform for educational content creators to monetize their knowledge and issue certificates. I led both frontend and backend development (Laravel), managed the team, and gained valuable insights into product design and growth strategy.

Freelancing is another dimension of my career — I’ve built custom tourism and reservation systems using Laravel & Vue.js. These experiences sharpened my ability to adapt quickly, understand client needs, and deliver reliable web applications.

In my spare time, I’m deeply involved in open-source development. Some of my personal projects include:

• Hollyvote.me: A social voting platform inspired by the original Facemash concept
• EdepliEdebiBot: A Telegram bot that shares Turkish poetry and etymology insights
• Turkey Earthquake API: An open API for tracking earthquakes across Turkey

Software, to me, is a never-ending journey. Each project I build, every challenge I solve, adds a new layer to my growth. Sometimes it's a single line of code that prevents a system failure; sometimes it’s a new feature that improves the experience for thousands of users.

My goal is to contribute to meaningful, human-centered technologies while upholding ethical values. I believe in learning, sharing, and growing together — and I’m always excited to be part of teams and projects that align with that vision.
